A new law could bring changes to local boat docks.
Sen. Paul Bailey said SB230 was passed at the end of the legislative session. The bill, sponsored by Bailey, would allow more of the taxes from fuel sales at marinas to go to the TWRA. Bailey said that extra money would be used to improve boating infrastructure.
The bill is on its’s way to Gov. Bill Haslam’s desk for his signature.
