A parole hearing for Jessica Ashley May will be held May 23.
May was convicted of attempted aggravated child neglect in December in connection with the death of her 23-month old son. May is incarcerated in the Carroll County Jail. The parole hearing will take place there.
May pleaded guilty and was sentenced to eight years at 20 percent.
Cody Key, May’s fiance at the time of her son’s death, was sentenced to 45 years at 100 percent.
