A 54-year-old Gainesboro man faces multiple charges including child rape and continuous sexual abuse.
15th District Attorney General Jason Lawson requested TBI special agents to investigate allegations of aggravated sexual battery against Johnny Baldwin in May.
The new indictment includes one count of aggravated sexual battery and three counts of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor. Baldwin also faces one count of rape of a child and three counts of statutory rape of an authority figure.
The TBI said the grand jury added one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child to the charges Baldwin is facing.
Baldwin booked into the Jackson County Jail following his arrest.
