Current Assistant Principal Stayce Clinton will takeover the leadership at Dodson Branch School.
Director of Schools Jason Hardy said the district has already completed an interview and hiring process to ensure a smooth transition for the school.
“Our former principal Mr. Brian Lee was elected as the new county executive or Mayor of Jackson County,” Hardy said. “So he will be finishing up his principal term here this month of August and he’ll start his new job in September.”
Hardy said the timing of the leadership change aligns with the start of the new government term. Hardy said Lee will begin his new position with Jackson County in September.
