Cookeville Leisure Services highlighting the Cookeville Farmers Market as both a local shopping destination and a rental venue for private community events.
Cookeville Leisure Services officials said the market will continue to feature local farmers and vendors with fresh produce and handcrafted items for several more weeks, but reminds residents the facility also serves as an outdoor pavilion available after 5 p.m.
Cookeville Leisure Services said vendor permits for those selling at the market remain valid through November 30.
Cookeville Leisure Services officials said Putnam County residents selling for the first time must provide a letter from the Agriculture Extension Agent. Vendors from outside the county are required to provide a new letter from their respective agents every year.
