The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles are set to officially introduce Tobin Anderson as the new head coach of the Golden Eagles men’s basketball team during a press conference on Monday, March 23 at 5 pm.
The event will take place in the Eagles’ Nest on the fourth floor of the Hooper Eblen Center and is open to the public.
Anderson led Fairleigh Dickinson in 2023 to one of the most memorable upsets in NCAA Tournament history, guiding the number 16 seed Knights to a first-round victory over number 1 seed Purdue. Before his Division I success, he amassed over 200 wins at St. Aquinas, along with multiple conference championships and several NCAA Division II Tournament appearances.
Monday’s introduction is expected to feature remarks from university and athletics leadership, followed by Anderson’s first public comments as the Golden Eagles’ head coach. A media question-and-answer session will conclude the event.
