Saturday’s Opening Weekend contest between Tennessee Tech and Texas A&M has been moved to an 11 a.m. start due to predicted inclement weather.
Tennessee Tech Athletics announced the schedule change and said the adjustment affects Saturday’s matchup at Texas A&M. The department said the earlier kickoff comes in response to forecasted weather conditions.
“Due to predicted inclement weather,” the release said, “Saturday’s Opening Weekend contest between Texas A&M and Tennessee Tech has been moved up to an 11 AM start.”
The change moves the game to a morning kickoff as part of Opening Weekend. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
The release also addressed ticket validity for fans planning to attend the game. The department said all previously issued tickets remain valid for the revised start time.
