Fentress Pharmacist Hall Trial Postponed Until April

Next week’s trial for Jamestown Pharmacy owner Phillip Hall has been rescheduled for April.

Hall faces nine counts of Health Care Fraud, six counts of Aggravated Identity Theft. Hall allegedly submitted false claims to Medicare, Medicaid and insurance companies for prescriptions to actually dispensed. Some prescriptions were not ordered by a healthcare provider.

More than $6 million in false claims made by Hall, according to the US Attorney’s Office. Each fraud count carries a ten-year prison sentence.

A pretrial conference will be held April 6 with the trial scheduled to begin April 14. Hall is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
