A Putnam County man has been arrested, facing multiple drug charges and multiple charges of unlawful possession of a weapon.
Kevin Otey was arrested after the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant of Otey’s residence located at 781 Cardinal Street in Cookeville. According to Investigators, Otey is a confirmed member of the “Traveling Vice Lords” gang.
While serving the warrant, investigators discovered illegal narcotics, including Cocaine and 126 grams of marijuana, as well as two firearms.
Otey was charged with two counts of manufacture, delivery, and sale of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon. Otey has a bond set for $850,000 and a court date of October 27, 2025.
