Celina has completed several required tasks from the state after violations of state wastewater regulations.
TDEC imposed a sewer consent order on Celina back in May, after the town failed to comply with the effluent limitations and conditions in the city’s permit.
According to TDEC, Celina has completed several tasks, which include paying the required damages and the upfront penalty to the Division of Water Resources.
The case remains open as the City of Celina continues to complete items required by the order.
