Two Putnam County men arrested on charges of crimes against children in two separate incidents.
Cookeville Police arrested 29-year-old Matthew T. Whitehead of Baxter and 27-year-old Jake Tyler Osorio of Cookeville. Both face felonies.
Local law enforcement conducted a search warrant on Whitehead’s and Osorio’s residence and seized multiple devices. Both Whitehead and Osorio admitted in interviews to possessing child sexual abuse material.
Osorio also admitted to distributing child sexual abuse material.
Whitehead has been charged with Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a Class D Felony. Osorio charged with Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a Class C felony and Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, a class D felony.
