Search Continues For Missing Cumberland Man

It has been three weeks since 84-year old James Graves of Cumberland County was last seen.

Cumberland County Sheriffs Director of Criminal Investigations Gary Howard said so far, his office has not received any leads. Howard said Graves last seen on March 31 driving along Lantana Road in Cumberland County.

“We know that he went missing from the Tansi area,” Howard said. “We know that he is very familiar with the Wilder area and we are concerned that he might be in one of those areas. Those areas have been looked at extensively with the THP flying those areas for us.”

Howard said Graves is five foot ten inches tall, weighs 190 pounds and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a button-down shirt and tennis shoes. Howard said Graves has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return home.

Howard said Graves was last seen traveling in a red 2010 Chevy Silverado with Tennessee license plate 1RH751.

“We will continue to investigate until Mr. Graves is located. His case will remain open and we will investigate any leads or any tips or anything that comes in,” Howard said. “We will continue to look for him, hoping that we will be able to find him.”
