New Lineup For Region’s Information Leader

The Upper Cumberland’s premiere information and talk station will launch an even stronger lineup Monday.

After its competitor waved the white flag and left the format, News Talk 94.1/AM 1600 will add several new programs to strengthen its position, Where The Upper Cumberland Talks.

Sean Hannity joins the News Talk 94.1 lineup afternoons from 2pm-5pm. Hannity remains one of the most dominant voices in media, scoring interviews with national leaders and providing insight into decisions being made in Washington.

Hannity will be joined Bill O’Reilly, with an afternoon look at the day’s event with no spin. The O’Reilly Report will be part of an expanded hour-long look at news, weekday afternoons at 5pm. The UC Now At 5 brings listeners of the Upper Cumberland an expanded look at news, sports, and weather. The hour features the latest from Wall Street, obituary information and other important Upper Cumberland information.

News Talk 94.1 listeners will get the local perspective on their way to and from work. The UC Now This Morning begins the day at 6am, with a full hour of local information. Then, at 7am, Local Matters features your neighbors, local leaders, and local experts on a different topic every day. Business. Health. Education. Politics. Interesting people. It’s purely Upper Cumberland every morning at 7, because LOCAL matters.

Two hours of local information will be followed by Brian Kilmeade at 8am. The popular Fox News host will provide a first look at the day’s top stories and analysis from the critical outlets across the nation.

News Talk 94.1’s workday conversation continues with Mike Gallagher at 10am, followed by Middle Tennessee’s own Dave Ramsey at Noon. A full report on the day’s news from Jamestown to Smithville, the UC at Noon, leads into conversation on your budget and finances.

The additions only add to the strength of the News Talk 94.1 lineup. Saturday, class is in session all-day with 19 hours of free advice. How To Saturday features tips on gardening, insight on home improvement, help with your pets, your checkbook, legal conversation, food and wine discussion, help with technology and devices and more.

Sunday, News Talk 94.1 focuses on local conversation all afternoon with Randy Porter and Ben Rodgers talking local issues. The UC Conversation focuses on important topics impacting the region. Insight on Tennessee Tech and its research, a focus on the Upper Cumberland arts scene are also part of the Sunday lineup.

The newest member of the Sunday lineup focuses on the men and women who lead our Upper Cumberland spiritual lives. The Calling is hosted by John Nichols.

The new News Talk 94.1/AM 1600 lineup begins Monday. As part of the changes, SEC Football Guru Paul Finebaum will move to Sports Radio 104.7 weekday afternoons from 4-6pm. Paul brings pigskin talk on the Vols and the rest of the SEC, plus his unique callers to the Upper Cumberland every afternoon. Sports conversation with the best lineup on Sports Radio 104.7.
