The Cumberland County School Board approved making changes to the director of schools job description during Thursday night’s board meeting.
Board Member Shannon Stout said a lot of the changes come after a constituent brought several spelling errors in the job description to the board’s attention. The changes also reword some sentences to better clarify what some of the expectations are of the director. The board will look to further evaluate the job description during a consultation with the Tennessee School Boards Association.
