The TBI arrested a White County man for allegedly sending child sexual abuse material to Snapchat users.
40-year old Timothy Rankin jailed after a search of his Sparta home by the White County Sheriff’s Office. TBI Special agents received a tip last December from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children concerning the web transfer of materials.
Rankin also charged with violating the Sexual Offender Registry. He was booked into the White County Jail on $15,000 bond.
