The York Dragonettes fell in the State Championship Game Saturday, losing to Westview 44-38.
York led by four points with two minutes to go. They would not score the rest of the game. Westview outscored York 10-0 in the final 2:38.
Reese Beaty finished with 13 points. She fouled out of the game with 51 seconds left. The foul occurred on a successful bucket from Westview, which gave them the lead.
Raylee Werner finished with 11 points. She scored the last field goal for York, a three pointer with three minutes to go. The field goal gave York the lead.
York finishes their season at 30-6. Westview wins their third state championship in the last four seasons.
