The Cookeville Lady Cavaliers fell to Bartlett 55-43 Friday night, ending the season in the State Semifinals.
Charlie Roby led the team in scoring, finishing with 20 points. Senior Macy Hudson tallied 12 points.
Cold shooting hurt the Lady Cavaliers, who finished just 1 of 17 from the three point arc. Overall, the team shot just 23.9 percent from the field. Bartlett made 6 of 14 three pointers on the way to a 52.8 percent shooting night.
Cookeville trailed 11-3 in the first quarter. Bartlett extended its lead to double digits by the end of the quarter. They led by double digits in all four quarters.
Cookeville’s season ends with a record of 25-8. Bartlett will advance to its third consecutive state championship.
