Tennessee Senator Ken Yager’s granted a continuance in his DUI case.
The continuance requested jointly by Yager and the State of Georgia. The next step in the case is a criminal calendar call on April 9.
Another motion hearing is scheduled for May 1 and a trial would be held on May 19 if necessary.
Yager arrested on December 3 by Georgia State Patrol after an alleged hit-and-run incident on Jekyll Island. Yager is charged with DUI, hit and run, and failure to stop at a stop sign.
