A former White County Middle School Teacher sentenced to 45 years in prison after pleading guilty to sex crimes committed during his tenure as a seventh grade teacher.
Austin Damon Allen pled guilty Friday to four counts of rape of a child, two counts of soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. District Attorney Bryant Dunaway said the three victims of the crime were 12 years old at the time of the crime.
The investigation began in October, 2023 when law enforcement received a report that Allen had sent photos of a sexual nature to female middle school students. He was arrested days later and has been in custody since.
Dunaway said the parents of the students were involved in the case and are supportive of Friday’s plea.
