A man driving toward to the Putnam County Fair this summer with pipe bonds and ammunition pled guilty Friday in federal court.
Levi Flatt sentenced to 30 months in federal prison. Flatt charged in August with possession of prohibited weapons, among other charges. Putnam County Sheriffs Deputies searched Flatt’s vehicle as he drove toward the Putnam County Fair. Inside the vehicle, deputies found three pipe bombs, two Molotov cocktails, a handgun with a tampered serial number, approximately 160 rounds of ammunition, a flak jacket, and a shield.
Flatt sentenced Friday at the United States Middle District Fred D Thompson Federal Building in Nashville. The ATF involved in the investigation with Putnam County.
