The race for Monterey Aldermen Ward Three finished in a tie Thursday.
James Coonie Foster and Cecilia Paulsen each tallied 135 votes, exactly 50 percent of the vote.
In the Ward One race, Kevin Peters defeated Spencer Delk. Peters finished with 64 percent of the ballots cast. Larry Bennett won the Ward Two race, downing Mark Farley by some eight percentage points.
Jamie Phillips wins the Ward Four seat, taking just under 60 percent of the votes cast. Phillips defeated Charles Looper.
