Independent Stave Company is set to construct a mill in the Rickman area.
Governor Bill Lee announced the company will invest $30 million to establish new manufacturing operations through its subsidiary. It’s expected to create 85 new jobs in Overton County.
The new mill marks the company’s 11th stave mill in the country. The mill manufactures staves, barrels, and oak alternatives for customers in more than 40 countries worldwide.
