UCHRA and UCDD has received a clean audit in all of its divisions.
Executive Director Mark Farley said this is the fourth or fifth year that the organizations received no findings.
“We’re very proud of the team our finance department has,” Farley said. “We have a lot of state funding and federal funding that flows through our office. They do a great job making sure all the check and balances are in place and it shows in our audit.”
Farley said he attributes the fiscal responsibility to structure. Farley said all departments have a process to make sure that each dollar is accounted.
“And making sure that all employees follow that process to make sure that we are fully accountable with every dollar that we spend,” Farley said.
Over the past calendar year, $15 million dollars of grant funding has came through the organizations to local communities.
