Clay County Commissioners did not discuss the Cumberland River Hospital at its meeting Monday night.
Commissioner Dorothy Forney brought the subject up at the end of the meeting. She asked Mayor Dale Reagan if there had been a further exploration of the Rural Emergency Hospital Designation.
Reagan said he had reached out to a healthcare contact in Washington D.C. and was awaiting a response.
