Two new car washes are currently under construction in Cookeville.
Planning Director Jon Ward said both are part of chains expanding to the area. One will be a Wash-N’-Roll on Willow Avenue next to Bojangles. The other will be a Tidal Wave Auto Spa on Jefferson Avenue.
Ward said that the plans had been approved and grading permits have been granted, so he estimates the work should finish quickly.
