Steve Pierce easily won re-election as Putnam County Property Assessor Thursday night.
Pierce defeated his opponent Lewis Tommaso 6341-1485.
Meanwhile, the make-up of the Putnam County Board of Education will remain the same. Three seats were open and every incumbent was unopposed. In District 1, Board Chairperson Dawn Fry received 1,368 complementary votes. District 3 board member Kim Cravens garnered 1,798 votes. And in District 5, Lynn McHenry picked up 1,621 votes.
In Putnam County Thursday, 11,707 votes were cast, a turnout of 25.78-percent.
