An elderly White County resident passed away at Cookeville Regional Monday marking the 11th COVID-19 patient to die at the facility.
The patient had underlying health conditions, according to CRMC Public Relations Director Melahn Finley.
As of Monday afternoon, 21 patients are currently being treated for COVID at the medical center, down from last week. Nine of the patients are in intensive care.
