Crews will be back along Monterey’s Industrial Drive Monday looking at the roadway.
An earthen dam next to the Perdue plant breached Friday night causing water to spillover the roadway. That led the roadway to crack and buckle in several places, according to county officials.
Crews directed the water to drain through culverts in the area. The 17-acre lake, named Wright’s Lake, runs along Industrial Drive between Highway 70 and the Perdue plant.
