Monday Evening Fire Damages Putnam County Home

A Putnam County home suffered damage during a Monday evening fire. The Putnam County Fire Department responded to 3642 Hilham Road at 10:52 p.m. Chief Tom Brown said the occupants of the home managed to escape unharmed. A cause of the fire remains under investigation. Brown said firemen contained the blaze to a single bedroom.

A Fentress County man appears in court Tuesday for charges of sexual exploitation of a minor. An 18 count indictment accuses 22-year-old Skyler Chase Clark of possessing images or videos showing a minor engaged in sexual activity.
