A Cookeville man appears in court Monday for charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
The Putnam County Grand Jury indicted Dustin Reed Rugh last year following a December 2018 investigation by the Cookeville Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit.
Following that investigation, detectives learned that the 20-year-old had relocated to Alleghaney County, Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania authorities arrested Rugh seven months ago and returned him to Putnam County. He remains behind bars on $100,000 bond.
