The State Court Of Appeals has ruled a Warren County woman can sue the county for false imprisonment.
In Monday’s ruling, the court ruled Bonnie R. Lovell could go forward with her seeking of damages because the statute of limitations had not expired, as the county had argued.
The case involved a 2012 arrest and false imprisonment that lasted over a year. The court ruled the statue of limitations does not end until the imprisonment ends.
