Multiple Vehicle Accident Reported on I 40
A motor vehicle accident has shut down part of Interstate 40 in Putnam County. E-911 officials said the accident involves a total of 9 vehicles near the 295 westbound mile marker. The Tennessee Highway Patrol will provide additional information about the crash at a later time.
