An armed robbery occurred early Wednesday morning at the Convenience Mart in Monterey.
Police said a masked man smashed through the front window with a crowbar before threatening the clerk and taking several hundred dollars.
The unidentified man fled on foot towards Rose Avenue. Officials said he had black duffel bag when he left the store.
