A Smithville driver escaped injuries when her vehicle crashed on Interstate 40 in Putnam County Friday afternoon.
The accident happened at the 294 westbound mile marker just before 4:40 p.m.
A crash report said 24-year-old Samantha Boner was driving a 2015 Ford Explorer when rainy weather cause the vehicle to hydroplane. Boner overcorrected, causing the vehicle to crash into a guardrail.
Officials said Boner refused medical treatment.
