Bridge inspections will take place next week on Interstate 40 in Cumberland County.
The two-year inspection of the Obed River bridge will take place Monday at the 317 mile marker. TDOT crews will inspect the Daddy’s Creek bridge at mile marker 327 on Tuesday and the Piney Creek bridge at mile marker 338 on Wednesday.
Each inspection will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The eastbound direction will be reduced to one lane in the morning with westbound lanes affected during the afternoon.
