A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project will close a portion of State Highway 141 in DeKalb County.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said the road will be closed adjacent to Long Branch Campground beginning Tuesday. The closure will be in effect until October 22.
The project involves the replacement of a box culvert as part of the Center Hill Dam restoration project. Officials said the road will be impassable during construction and a detour route will be posted.
