A Fentress County grand jury has indicted a Jamestown man following a narcotics investigation.
Authorities arrested 65-year-old Larry Ward on Wednesday. He has not yet posted his $20,000 bond.
A grand jury handed down the indictment on Tuesday, charging Ward with two counts of sale and delivery of a schedule II drug. A statement from the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office said the indictment stemmed from a joint narcotics investigation that occurred earlier this year.
The Jamestown Police Department assisted with the investigation.
