Cookeville Police located three ounces of meth during a traffic stop Friday.
Officers charged 40-year-old Brooks Lee with manufacture, delivery, sell, or possession of methamphetamine. He has already posted $35,000 bond, but appears in court September 16.
Police made contact with Lee after conducting a traffic stop for a moving violation.
An arrest report said Lee stepped out of the car and dropped a bag containing three ounces of a crystal substance believed to meth. Officers also located a set of digital scales inside the vehicle.
