An Alexandria man faces charges for failing to return to jail from a furlough.
45-year-old Terry Lynn Bass faces one count of escape. He will make a court appearance July 25.
Sheriff Patrick Ray said a judge granted a furlough to Bass after his mother passes away over Memorial Day weekend. He failed to report back to jail by a May 27th deadline.
