Cumberland County will conduct a salary and wage study beginning July 1.
County commissioners approved last month a $5,000 budget amendment allocating funding for the study.
The last compensation study took place during the 2016-2017 fiscal year in which over $700,000 in raises were given to county employees.
Organizational Management Group, of Knoxville, will conduct the study after leading the original study three years ago.
