The Cookeville Ruby Tuesday has permanently closed.
A district manager at the store confirmed the closure during a phone call Tuesday afternoon but provided no specific reason. Calls to the corporate office in Knoxville went unanswered.
Putnam County Clerk Wayne Nabors said Ruby Tuesday operated its Interstate Drive location for a total of 12-years.
Restaurant Business reported last year that the company had closed a total of 51 restaurants across the country.
