Cookeville Police are searching for a person in connection with a fatal hit-and-run on Broad Street Monday.
Authorities say 32-year-old Phillip Frady of Bloomington Springs was traveling westbound when an eastbound pickup truck attempted to turn onto Broadway Avenue.
The driver of the pickup then struck Frady’s 1985 Honda Motorcycle and drove off before police arrived. Frady was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck is currently unknown. CPD reports that officials are following up on several potential leads in an attempt to identify the driver of the truck.
CPD encourages anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact their Traffic Enforcement Division.
