Firehouse Subs will donate funding to Fentress County’s Ambulance Services.
Fentress County commissioners voted to approve the donation during Monday’s commission meeting.
County Mayor Jimmy Johnson says agencies must be within a 50 to 60 mile radius of a Firehouse Subs to qualify for the company’s donations.
Firehouse has donated over $37 million to emergency service organizations across the country through its Public Safety Foundation. Funding is usually given to help fund new equipment or training services. Portions of all sales made at Firehouse Subs goes toward the company’s foundation.
The amount of the donation to the Fentress County Ambulance Services was not announced.
