A Smithville woman faces multiple charges after striking a vehicle during a police pursuit in Jackson County yesterday.
Officials charged April Lee, 41, with Due Care and Financial Responsibility. Lee’s police pursuit charges are pending with Jackson County.
Lee failed to stop for a Gainesboro Police Unit while traveling West on State Route 135 around 11:19 PM. Lee then struck a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria in the front left side.
The driver reported no injuries. Jackson County EMS treated Lee for minor injuries on the scene.
