No one was harmed after authorities responded to a fire on Kuykendall Road in Putnam County Wednesday.
David Bradshaw said he and his daughter were not in their home when their dryer caught fire in their utility room.
Putnam County and Cookeville Fire Departments arrived on scene and quickly contained the fire.
Bradshaw said the home only sustained smoke and water damage in the one room. No word on what may have caused the dryer to catch fire.
