Cookeville emergency crews responded to a fatal one-car accident on Crescent Drive Wednesday. Cookeville Police Captain Bobby Anderson said crews have closed portions of Crescent Drive and Linnaeus Avenue. Putnam County EMA Director Tyler Smith reported a tree fell on a vehicle, trapping a patient inside. An identity has not been released at this time.
