A single-vehicle accident took the life of a Baxter man.
The accident took place at 4:22 PM yesterday, June 7.
Morris D Carr, 56, was traveling on HWY 96 Dekalb County Northbound when he exited 100 yards to the right of the roadway.
Carr’s red GMC Canyon truck then flipped onto its side. The passenger side compartment was pinned against a tree.
According to the report, Carr was pinned in the passenger compartment between the tree and truck.
Carr did not wear a seatbelt.
