The Overton/Pickett Emergency Communication District board chairman has scheduled a special called meeting for Monday.
Chairman Stanley Carter Jr. said the meeting will be centered around an investigation report released last week by the state comptroller’s office.
That report found nearly $85,000 in questionable expenses by the district.
The 31st Judicial District and District Attorney General Lisa Zavigiannis have opened an investigation into the spending allegations.
The Monday, May 7th meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m.
