The construction for the Algood Fire Hall expansion project will likely get underway next week.
City Administrator Keith Morrison said the city received permission to proceed with the project today.
Morrison said the $600,000 expansion project will add three double bays along with new training space. EMS will also have the ability to run a 24 hour ambulance service out of the current facility.
A completion date set for December 29th, 2018
