The pedestrian struck while walking along Washington Avenue in mid March died from his injuries Sunday.
65-year-old Ad E. Landers suffered head injuries in the accident. It happened Thursday March 15 at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Broad Street. Landers was walking southbound when he was struck by a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by 27-year-old Joshua Phann of Cookeville.
Landers died at Vanderbilt Medical Center. No charges have been filed in the accident.
Cookeville Police continue to ask for anyone who may have seen the accident to contact the department.
